This park has so much to offer but is in desperate need of care and attention. It made me furious each time we had to drive over the deep holes in the road directly in front of the ranger’s residence. Just a load of gravel in the deepest holes would go a long way to improving one’s stay. So much in the park needs attention, but I’ll just stop with the roads. On the plus side, the hiking trails are fantastic.

This is a beautiful park, well maintained and nicely landscaped with trees and flowers. Even though the roads in the park were steep and a little tight, they were freshly paved. The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi signal was strong and the cable TV offered numerous channels. The sites were very close together and not very level, but they were covered in gravel. Since it is so close and such an easy exit from the Natchez Trace this neat park is a great place for a stopover on a drive along the beautiful Trace. Be prepared however, since they accept only cash or checks.

This is a pretty park in a rural setting. Although it is obviously old and a fairly typical state park (no sewer hookups at the sites), it is reasonably clean. There was no one present at the gate in the two days we were here and probably fewer than six or seven rigs in the whole park. There is a front section that is older and a newer back section with more sites. Most of the sites are well shaded, but ours was not very level. If it were full, it would probably seem closely packed since there is not a lot of space between sites and the roads are close and narrow. Cell phone coverage was excellent (AT&T), but antenna television was spotty.

This is a very nice stop for a night. It’s on Highway 65, so there is a lot of road noise, but we had no trouble ignoring it. The owners/managers are friendly, the sites are spacious and level, and the grounds are attractive with large trees and pretty flowers.

This is a nice stop for a night. Like many KOAs, the sites are very close together and some of the turns in the park are tight. It was clean, however, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is an incredible park. The facilities look new, everything is clean, the sites are spacious and level, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hiking trails are beautiful and very well maintained. It’s definitely a park for nature lovers, with no large town close. Cell coverage is weak in the campground, but ok at the Lodge. Paris is about 19 miles north and has a grocery store and a few shops, but the park scenery is the main attraction.

This is a clean, safe park with friendly office staff. There is a large number of permanent residents, but the units (trailers, double-wides, etc) are well-kept. Transient travelers are placed on the front near a busy highway or in a large field toward the back of the park. We had a difficult time leveling on our site in the field. There are few amenities, but they had good cable and strong WiFi. This is a good place if you need somewhere to stay for the night as you travel though the area.

This is a friendly park that is well maintained. The sites are very close together, but there are small trees at most sites with nice landscaping. It has easy pull through sites, good cable and strong WiFi. This campground also has a great camp store for general rv supplies. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, it’s not a campground for sitting outside, but it is a clean, safe place for an overnight stay. We’ve stayed here several times and will visit again.

The biggest positive for this park is the friendly staff. They are especially helpful and considerate. The park is heavily shaded with fairly level sites. As previous reviews mentioned, the sites are small and close together. A few are gravel, but most are sandy and very messy when it rains. The roads in the park are fairly narrow and some of the turns are sharp. The cable and WiFi are good. It’s a safe, secure setting not far from the Interstate. We didn’t look at the pool, but the miniature golf course was in some disrepair. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a large park behind a huge flea market. The only positive for this park is the friendly staff! The sites are very close together and sandy. Many of the residents are permanent with old trailers and motorhomes. They advertise WiFi, but it is only available for an additional charge.

This is a beautiful park in a wooded area on a large lake. It was heavily damaged in the last year by a tornado, but is in the process of being repaired. The staff is very friendly, and it seems safe and secure with a gated entrance. The previous reviews are accurate about the narrow roads. I would rate higher except there are only five sites with sewer hookups, and there is no cable or WiFi. The scenery rates high, however.

This is a beautiful park. The sites were spacious, long and shaded with great views of the lake. There was more than enough room for our fifth-wheel and the tow vehicle. There are miles of trails that we shared with the deer. The laundry room was one of the cleanest I've ever seen in a campground! The office ranger was very friendly and helpful with information and leaflets about the park. We will definitely be back.

This is a clean park with well maintained sites. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The cable and WiFi worked well. The only negative was that the sites are very close together. If you want a place to sit outside, this would not be very comfortable since you are so close to your neighbor. If you want a nice place to stop for the night, it's great.

The most positive remark for this campground is that the actual sites are concrete and level. On the negative side, the campground is mostly long-term residents. The roads were rough and not well maintained. It was very messy and dirty. They advertised WiFi, but it did not work. We won't stay here again.

This is a nice park if you need a place to stay while sightseeing in Chattanooga. The sites were very close but were level. Most of the sites were full, so it was crowded trying to drive around all of the tow vehicles and toads inside the park. Half of the campground is long-term residents. WiFi and cable were adequate. We went in to buy an article at the store, and the office staff was very unfriendly. A resident who is apparently a host camper was absolutely rude.
